Title: Project Coordinator (Manager)

Description:

This role provides project management to the Town’s Engineering Services Division. You will support the Manager of Engineering Services by overseeing the planning and leading of projects from ideation through to completion. The primary focus is to provide support to the reconstruction of damaged Town infrastructure resulting from the 2013 floods. You will oversee projects up to a value of $1,000,000.

To be successful, you will have a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation from APEGA with four (4) years related working experience. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset however, you will require a basic understanding of project management principles. You have strong interpersonal skills to support you in leading, directing, and coordinating project teams. Knowledge and understanding of typical municipal operations will assist you in this role.
